Lewis stared over the torn and broken wasteland he used to call home. Fire spewed from the forests and buildings surrounding him, clouding the sky gray with ash and smoke. Speaking of the sky, it had lost its light blue color, as for a sickening red had engulfed it when the Aether was taken by his younger brother, Sky.

Villagers screams rattled throughout the havoc around Lewis, fitting the scene perfectly. Lewis walked through the burning city, which used to be called Mistral. As he did, memories began to surface from his crazed mind.

'You have to trust me!'

'No. You tell lies!'

'Please, Simon! You have to believe me!'

'You are a threat to us all!'

Lewis' red eyes flashed as blood splattered across his vision. He blinked it away, the memories continuing to play in his mind and the voices echoing in his ears.

'...why, Simon?'

'It's for our own good, Lewis. If you're dead, you can't harm any of us.'

'..but...I've escaped...his influence....'

'LIES!'

Lewis flinched as the sound of a blade entering and exiting his skin broke through the voices' conversation. He looked down, pushing aside his shirt to reveal a stab wound in his chest. As he did, the haunting memories eased themselves, the word "Lies" slowly decreasing in volume.

Suddenly, someone placed a hand on his shoulder. "Vengeance, Lewis. Do not linger over the past. Seek your revenge on Honeydew." Herobrine bellowed to him.

"It's hard to forget what he did to me." Lewis replied, fixing his tattered shirt.

"One day, the memories will be buried with your savage wrath over this pitiful world."

"When will that day be, Father?"

"Soon, Lewis. Very soon."

They walked through the town painted with flames aimlessly, unsure of what to do next. Eventually, they came upon a shattered window. Lewis stared at his corrupted reflection in the glass. His skin was covered in blood, scratches, bruises, and gashes. His hair was mussed and dulled. His eyes were a daunting blood-red. His clothes were tattered and torn.

"Look at yourself, Lewis. Look at what you've become. You're more powerful than ever!" Herobrine praised him.

Lewis smiled at his reflection. "Indeed I am."

Suddenly, a figure flew overhead, his dragon-like wings flapping lightly as he neared the ground. He had another character with him, who was already bleeding out. The one with wings was Jordan, and the other was Simon.

"I found a runner, Lewis." Jordan hissed, licking his fangs menacingly, his snake-like eyes glinting. "I was wondering if you'd like to do the honors."

Lewis stared at his once lifetime companion. Simon stared back, fear visible in his eyes. "I'd love to." Lewis replied.

Jordan shoved Simon towards Lewis, his wings folding. "Very well. But make it quick. I can just taste his sweet, little soul!" Jordan said eagerly, flashing his fangs.

"I'll try."

Simon gulped as Lewis grabbed him and put a dagger up to his neck. "I'm sorry..." Simon whimpered.

Lewis' grin turned into a cheshire smile. "Lies." he uttered, then brought the knife across Simon's neck.

A light gray wisp escaped the dwarf's mouth, and Jordan snatched it from the air. He cupped it in his hand, then chomped down on the soul before it could escape. "Ooh. Salty," Jordan laughed and spread his wings to full extent, taking off to find more souls to feast upon.

As Herobrine and Lewis watched Jordan soar through the air, the flames seemed to increase in intensity. "Father," Lewis said.

"Yes?"

"I think the day has come." Lewis stated, the memories of Simon running a blade through his chest suddenly emerging once again, only to escape his grasp, leaving nothing but a strand of it ever happening. Then, remembrances of when he sided with his father--When his life finally took a turn for the better.

It made Lewis wonder why he didn't do it in the first place. The screams of thousands of innocents as they drown in Herobrine's and his sons' wrath was so welcoming. The rising flames that seem to lick away at the bloody sky was a wonderful sight. But best of all, watching their friends and companions parish at their feet, begging for mercy and forgiveness, only to receive nothing but a slow, agonizing death.

It was all so perfect.
Ehehehehehee. Ever wondered what would happen if the kings didn't win? If their companions didn't believe them? Well, you're about to find out.

There'll be one for Lewis, Jordan, and Sky. (in that order of names)

NO, THIS IS NOT A SEQUEL TO REVENGE. It's just an AU thing.
