---Three months Later; Taiga season---

The sound of snow crushing underfoot unsettled the silence of snow falling around the group. Each member of the group was mounted on a horse, and they were headed for Sky's kingdom.

Jordan held out his arm, causing Mark and Nick to halt their horses. "What's up?" Mark asked, then blew hot air from his mouth into his cupped hands.

Jordan pointed towards Larry, who's ears were perked forward. His tail was held high, along with his snout, which was picking up any whiff of smell. "I think he heard something." Jordan whispered to Mark and Nick.

"YEE-HAW!" a voice whooped from the forest. In a blur of flying snow, Lewis and Simon galloped into view. They clutched the reins of their horses, causing them to rear. "Headed to Sky's place too?" Lewis asked his younger brother.

"Of course! Everyone got the invitation." Jordan replied, wiping the snow from his hair.

"Well, let's get going then! Wouldn't want to keep our younger brother waiting!" Lewis whipped the reins and sped off into the forest ahead, Simon not too far behind.

Jordan looked back at Mark and Nick. "Stay close!" he bellowed and whipped his horse's reins. "HYEAH!"

His horse reared and whinnied before zipping after Lewis and Simon. Larry, Mark, and Nick hurried after their racing friend, their vision distorted from the falling snow.

---

Jordan and Lewis arrived at the gates of the golden kingdom on time. The hopped off their horses and allowed the guards to take them to the stable. Afterwards, the guards opened the gates, letting them in.

"Lewis! Jordan!" Sky greeted his brothers.

"Hey!" they said in sync.

"Let's get inside, that's where the party's at! Plus, it's chilly as hell out here." Sky grinned and led them to the palace, which was cleverly decorated with ornaments and flowers.

"I see you fixed up the place quite nicely." Lewis complemented the decor.

"Well, duh! Why wouldn't I? It's a party!" Sky replied, making Lewis grin and roll his eyes.

Once inside, the kings and their friends took off their snow wear, handing them to the servants.

Lewis brushed the snow off his suit and licked his hand, gelling his hair with it. "Okay, ready."

Jordan adjusted his shades and fixed his tie. "I'm ready as well. How about you, Sky?" When no one was looking, Jordan undid his tie and unbuttoned his shirt to get the sleazy, yet formal look he was used to. Larry gave him a glare, but Jordan shook his head and held a finger up to his lips.

"Almost," SKy replied as he brushed his bangs a bit. "Okay, ready!"

"Wait," Lewis cautioned and formed a yellow rose with his powers. He tucked the rose into Sky's tuxedo pocket. "Now, you're ready."

Jordan and Lewis looked back at their friends, who were ready to go and dressed up too. "Ready to go when you are," Nick said.

Ty and Jason suddenly appeared, tuxedos on. But, Jason still had his helmet on, and Ty kept his headset. "What are we waiting for?" Ty asked.

"Nothing. Now, let's go." Sky took the lead, guiding the group to a set of large doors, guards standing by to open them. Sky nodded at them, and the guards opened the doors in sync with each other's movements.

"They're here!" a recruit in the crowd of the ballroom announced.

"Now the party has really started!" another called.

Dawn ran up to Sky, dressed in a elegant red dress. "Come on, let's dance!" she grasped his hand and pulled him to the middle of the room.

The DJ hit play, and a slow song began.

Sky looked back at his brothers. Lewis pointed towards his suit pocket. Sky realized what he was saying, and he reached for the flower in his pocket, going to hand it to Dawn. "Um...for you!" he said nervously.

Dawn took the flower, unsure of what to do with it. "Sky...thank you." she murmured as she stared at the yellow petals. Sky took the rose and balanced it on her left ear to complement her look, pushing back her multi-colored hair.

They pressed their foreheads together, beginning to sway back and forth. Soon, they were slow dancing, and everyone had their eyes on the golden couple.

Jordan smiled and Lewis wiped his eyes. "Are you...crying?" Jordan teased.

"No! I just...got something in my eye!" Lewis snapped, wiping away some tears. Jordan snickered and patted his back a few times to tease him further. "There, there." he handed Lewis a tissue.

---

After a couple hours in the ballroom, the kings and their companions left for the dining room, where a large buffet was being held. A couple other of their friends joined in.

"Dig in! There's more where this came from!" Sky offered them.

"Hey, Nick." Mark nudged the pink power ranger. "I bet I can eat more melon slices than you."

"Impossible! Everyone knows I'm the melon eating champion!" Nick exclaimed.

"Exactly." Mark smirked.

Nick narrowed his eyes and chomped down into a melon slice, Mark following in his lead.

Jordan shook his head as they went through melon slice, through melon slice, through melon slice. "Oh boy, it's going to be a long night."

Ant laughed and put his hand on Jordan's back. "Well, good luck."

"That's what you said to me during the survival games." Jordan replied, a grin on his face.

"You wanna go again?" Ant asked, leaning in.

"Try me," Jordan uttered, their noses almost touching. Ant stuck out his tongue, and Jordan recoiled, wiping his lips. "AW, DUDE!"

Ant laughed again. "You asked for it, Nether Prince!"

Jordan glanced at him, smiling stupidly. Larry suddenly nudged his leg, whimpering. Jordan looked down and watched the blue wolf lay back his ears and beg. Jordan caught sight of some steak on the table, and he used telekinesis to creep it over to the edge of the table. He released the steak from his power, and Larry gobbled it up in a few bites.

Ant nudged Jordan's arm. "I saw that!" he hissed quietly.

"Let's keep it between you and me." Jordan replied with a sly wink.

After a few more minutes of chowing down, Ty rose from his seat, clinking his spoon against his drink. Everyone quieted down, turning their head towards him. "Um, I have a couple words to say. I would like to make a toast." he began nervously.

"Go ahead!" Draven urged him, and a few others agreed.

Deadlox tugged at his shirt collar and gulped. "I've known Sky for quite sometime now. Ever since our childhood, actually. I don't know about all of you, but Sky has been a big part of my life. I know Jason and Dawn can back me up when I say this: During your time when you left us, when you abandoned us and returned with a craving for blood, we honestly were lost. We didn't know how to carry on. We didn't know if we could carry on knowing that you, Sky, were no longer the Sky we knew and loved and cherished.

"When Jason and I saw Herobrine and Ikaar turn you in that alleyway, we were horrified. When you began to break down that door, all we could think of was to get away from you. That's something I never thought I would have to think in my entire life. From that moment on, I convinced myself that you were never coming back. And when I learned about Lewis and Jordan, well, that made matters even worse. No one trusted anyone. We were lost, scared...protective as hell. It felt like we were cornered animals, with no escape.

"Then, I saw you getting ready to kill Dawn. Without thinking, I ran out in front of her to protect her. I injured myself in the process, and pretty bad, actually." Ty ran his hand on his scars under his clothing. "When I came to the first time, I saw you, Sky. At first, I was scared, but I saw you had your hand over my wound. I now realize that you were healing it. That one movement might've saved my life, and I thought you were trying to end it.

"When you brought us to the Nether, Sky, and explained the situation with your brothers, I honestly didn't know what to believe at that moment. Then, I thought back to when you were healing the stab, and I knew what had to be done. But, Herobrine nearly killed you, and Jordan sacrificed himself to save your life, nearly ending his. To be honest, if I were in the same situation, I would've done the same thing. I would take a knife to the chest for you, because you honestly have alternated my life, probably saving it a few times. What I'm trying to say, is," Ty held up his drink,"Welcome back, my kings."

Sky, Lewis, and Jordan stared in utter awe. They had no words for Ty's speech. Around the table, their friends and companions had lifted their glasses into the air, and were cheering and toasting.

Herobrine's sons exchanged astonished and speechless looks with each other, trying to gather the strength to at least smile at the gesture, or utter a simple "Thank you." But, they sat there with frozen stares, unable to muster the strength to reply.

"...Excuse us, one moment." Lewis finally said after the long pause. He stood up, tugging his brothers along with him. They walked to the balcony, still befuddled by Ty's words. "Goddamn."

"I...I never knew..." Sky started, but his voice trailed elsewhere.

Jordan leaned on the balcony railing, shutting his eyes and breathing slowly. "I honestly don't know what to say..."

"I don't know either! Should we apologize, thank him, or...what?" Lewis agreed.

"Uh...possibly a thank you. Yeah, that sounds best." Sky said, shaking the anxiety from his hands. "Let's thank him for the kind words!" he pressed his brothers, a worried look on his face.

"What do you mean 'let's'? He's your best friend! You should be thanking him!" Lewis hissed.

"I'm not doing it alone!"

"Come on! We'll back you up if you fuck up." Lewis promised. Sky groaned, then finally agreed. "'Atta boy!" he urged his younger brother.

The three of them went back inside, silently stepping back into the dining room. In doing so, everyone turned their head towards them, expecting them to talk.

Lewis nudged Sky forward, earning himself an agitated glare. "Uh, Ty, I would just like to thank you for the...kind, thorough words. My brothers and I have much to be forgiven for, and your speech has seemed to...uh..."

"Seem to what?" Jason pressed.

"...Uh...it-...it just..." Sky stuttered. Jordan and Lewis could see he was getting uncomfortable, and they decided to take action. With his pupils going red, Jordan waved his hand, and Sky went stiff. "It lifted our hearts and changed our perspective of this whole...journey. We can't thank you enough for the mercy you've showed us, and we hope that our actions during these several months are forgiven." Sky finished with a glazed expression.

Jordan let out a small sigh when he released Sky from his control, his eyes fading back to blue. Sky looked back and nodded at him with a small smile.

"We forgive you." murmurs from the table chimed, seeming to lift the weight from the kings' shoulders. They were finally back. And hopefully for good.

Hopefully.
