*Months later; Jordan's Kingdom*

Mark and Nick sat around a small fire outside the kingdom. They sat in silence, not knowing what to do.
After a while, Mark got up and stretched. "Im going to get more firewood." he said and began to walk away from the campsite.
"I'll come with you-"
"No. I want to go alone." Mark said without looking back at his friend.
Nick sighed. Never before has he seen Mark so driven.

---

Mark wandered through the forest. He had lied about fetching more wood. He wanted to get his mind off things; away from Nick. It wasn't that he hated him, he just needed time alone.
'Might as well get some sticks before Nick gets suspicious.' he thought to himself.
Bending over, he gathered a few twigs off the ground, then heard a loud snap.
Mark straightened up and poised himself, sword in hand. "W-who's there?" he questioned.
No response.
He sheathed his sword, and he went back to picking up sticks. 'Stupid animals...' Mark thought as he walked around.
Out of nowhere, a hooded figure rushed at him, tackling him to he ground. Mark tried to get up, but he was stopped by a blade put to his throat.
"Who are you?" he said as he tried to pull away from the dagger. The dark assassin stared at him, putting the dagger to his face.
"Why'd you do it? Jealous? Power-hungry?" the figure asked in a threatening manner. Mark recognized the voice, but he knew it was impossible.
"What are you talking about?! What did I ever do to you? I don't even know you!" he exclaimed. The figure gave him a good smack to the face with the end of his dagger handle. "OUCH! WHAT THE F*CK?!" Mark exclaimed as his forehead began to bleed.
The assassin pulled his hood off, his dark locks fell onto his face and covered his eyes. Mark's eyes widened as the figure's appearance became clear and recognizable. 'Jordan?!'
"Remember me now, traitor?!" Jordan snapped, a maniacal expression on his face. Mark couldn't tell if he had gone mad, or if he was joking. Either way, he knew Jordan was threatening his life.
There was a battle cry and Nick came running out the forest. Without time to react, Nick tackled Jordan off of Mark, and they wrestled down a hill leading to a pit, trying to get the advantage of being on top of one another once they reach the bottom. Mark peered over the edge of the drop-off and watched the two stagger to their feet, tattered and bruised, getting ready to fight.
"You chose the wrong power ranger to mess with, bud." Nick warned the assassin as he brushed the dirt off his pink suit. He poised himself, fists ready to fire punches. "Now let's tango."
Jordan pulled out a dagger,"Yes, let's dance." his hood was back over his head, making Nick oblivious about who he was fighting.
"Hmph, bringing a knife to a fist fight, huh? Well two can play at that game." Nick unsheathed his sword and Jordan readied a spare dagger in his other hand.
The two friends lashed out at each other, skillfully bobbing and weaving, dodging, wielding, and knifing. Nick was able to hack at Jordan's left arm, creating a semi-deep gash in it. On the other hand, Jordan was fortunate to dig one of his daggers into his opponent's dominant arm, giving him and advantage.
Mark desperately tried to make his way down into the pit. "Nick, wait!" he yelled, distracting his friends.
Jordan turned around to fight him, but Mark gave him a quick uppercut, knocking him out cold.
"Hey! I had him!" Nick said to Mark as he covered the cut in his right arm.
He walked up to the unconscious assassin and flipped the hood off his face, revealing his identity. Nick gasped. "How would you feel if you killed Jordan?" Mark asked him.
"But....but...How?! He died months ago!" Nick argued.
"I'm not sure. But, I guess there's only way to find out how." he lifted Jordan by the shoulders and Nick got his feet.
They carried him back to the kingdom in the cold night.

---

"What in Notch's name?! Jordan!?" the doctor exclaimed as Mark and Nick laid him down onto a bed.
"Is he conscious?" the nurse asked Mark as she examined the king.
"No...I knocked him out." Mark said and held an ice pack over his wound.
"I thought he was dead." the doctor said in astonishment.
"So did we." Nick said as another nurse began to wrap his wound.
"He attacked us, though, he's different." Mark told the doctor.
"Jordan attacked you guys?" the nurse that was taking care of Nick asked.
Mark nodded,"He called me a traitor and was babbling on about doing something. Said we were...Jealous or power-hungry, something like that." Mark stared at the hurt king. "It was like...he had gone insane."
"Insane?" the doctor looked at some rope and a roll of duct tape. "He might attack us again when he wakes up, we should tie him down."
The two friends grabbed the rope and duct tape. Mark tied Jordan's hands and feet to the bed's poles, while Nick placed a strip of duct tape over his mouth.
"Let's leave him 'till morning." Nick said and motioned for Mark to follow him out the door.
The nurse quickly wrapped Jordan's wound on his arm then left with the other nurse and doctor.

---Sky's kingdom---

Sky ran through the kingdom, ducking behind a building every time a guard or recruit approached his way. They meant nothing to him now. He made his way to the palace, hopping over the gates and avoiding the guards.
He looked for a way to get inside, spotting an open window. Reaching for his pocket, he grabbed his grapple and scaled the castle walls into the window.
Once he got inside, Sky immediately saw three figures wandering the halls, coming his way. Grappling his way onto a ledge, he eavesdropped on their conversation.
"Are you feeling sleepy yet, Dawn?" Ty asked with a yawn.
"No..." she replied and sighed as Jason lit the lantern once again.
"Do you want another cup of tea?" Jason asked groggily.
"No." she stopped and stared at them,"You guys go off to bed, I'm just going to walk around for a while longer."
Outside it started to rain. Thunder and lighting quickly began to strike and echo through the palace. For a second, Dawn could she a figure staring at them in the shadows, but she ignored the fact and convinced herself that it was just an illusion from the lack of sleep.
"Are you sure?" Ty raised an eyebrow.
"Yes... You guys have already done enough."
"Okay, your radiance." Jason said with a quick bow and handed her the lantern. "Be careful."
"I will." she said with a dreary voice.
Ty and Jason began to walk away. Dawn did the same and heard the sound of someone dropping down behind her. She turned around, seeing a dark figure in front of her. Lightning struck, the figure's face flashed and Dawn gasped sharply. "SKY?"
He quickly put her in a choke hold and held a knife to her throat. "Hold it right there, betrayers!" he yelled, whirling around with Dawn.
The two friends turned around, recognizing the voice. Seeing Dawn with the dagger at her neck, they drew their swords.
"Who. Are. You?" Deadlox demanded, suddenly becoming defensive.
The assassin laughed darkly,"Don't remember me?!" Sky took off his hood and stared at his friends, eyes fierce. "You don't remember how you betrayed me? How you sliced my neck out of cold blood?!" he snapped back at them, pressing the knife.
"Ty...! Jason...!" Dawn said feebly.
Sky shook her,"Silence!"
"Oi! That's no way to treat you fiancé!" Ty yelled, brandishing his sword at Sky. 'What the f*ck has gotten into him?! Has he gone mad?' he questioned in his mind.
"Oh shut up, you punk!" Sky threatened and dropped Dawn. She hurriedly got up and ran behind the two, petrified. "You guys killed me! ...And now I'm here to get my revenge." he thrashed his sword at them.
"WHAT!?" Jason yelled and blocked Sky's sword, staring at him in the eyes. "You think we killed you?" he said in disbelief.
Ty punted Sky to the ground and held him there with his foot, sword blade pointed at his face. "Have you gone mad?! Why in the world would we kill you? Why would you even think we would do such a heartless thing!"
"Because you guys wanted the throne all to yourselves! Jealous bastards..." he cursed the last part to himself. He reached into his pocket and threw another enderpearl at the ground.
The three coughed as the smoke hazed around them. When it finally cleared, Sky had disappeared, leaving them in a puzzled state.
Ty scoffed. "I can't believe him. Actually thinking we killed him on purpose. He's got to be insane." he shook his head and walked over to Dawn, still in shock of what Sky just did and said.
"This isn't happening...he's dead...he's-" she burst into tears.
Jason helped her up,"Come on, Dawn. Let's get you back to your room." he led hear back to her bedroom and tucked her into bed. Deadlox waited outside.
"What're we going to do about Sky?" he asked when Jason walked outside of her room.
"I have no idea, but we need to keep the kingdom safe in case he comes back. He's a real nut-job now"
"You can say that again. Sky's gone coo-coo." Ty said with a sigh. "We have to find out what's gotten into him, this isn't who he is-not one bit."
"Yeah, he even called us traitors and blamed us for his death." Jason pointed out as they walked to their rooms.
Ty shook his head,"There's something missing. It all just doesn't make sense."
"We'll figure it out in the morning." Jason walked into his room,"I'll see you tomorrow. Watch your back."
Deadlox nodded,"You too." he shut his door and plopped onto his bed, letting out a long sigh of frustration. 'Sky, what's wrong with you?' he thought and nodded off to sleep, not even bothering to change out of his day clothes.

---Mistral City---

Simon stared at his dead companion's grave, grieving in the night. He didn't mind the rain.
Father Braeburn walked outside with an umbrella,"You should really come in, Honeydew. The rain is starting to come down, hard."
"I'll go inside in a few minutes." he replied, not turning back to stare at the priest.
"...Alright." he walked back into the church and shut the door.
Honeydew sighed and began to draw in the dirt with a stick. "...It's all my fault. I got you killed. I never should've left you here in Mistral."
"That's right." Lewis said behind Simon, making him jump.
"Wh-what? You're alive?!" he looked back at the grave and at Lewis just to make sure he wasn't imagining things.
"Far from it. But Herobine promised us something if we get our revenge..." he pulled out a dagger and stared at the blade tip. "You killed me...now I'm here to collect my vengeance."
'Us? Herobrine?...I killed him...' "...You're right. I killed you, well, got you killed."
"Don't try to deny- wait, what?" Lewis stared at his friend in the rain, he wasn't denying the fact?
"You were stabbed by someone...I don't know who, but I left you here in Mistral while I went to go get the bandits." the dwarf admitted blandly.
Lewis' stance loosened and he lowered the dagger. 'Was he coming clean? Is he telling me the truth?' he looked away and ran off, leaving Simon behind.
"Honeydew, come inside!" Father Braeburn said as he opened the door.
Simon stood there, befuddled. After a brief moment of staring off in Lewis' direction, he walked inside without a word. 'Lewis...'
The priest noticed Simon's worried look,"Is something wrong, hero?"
"No... I'm just thinking."
He nodded and went to humming and dusting the church.

---

After running for quite some time, Lewis finally slowed his pace. He didn't know who to trust anymore.
'Just like Rythian always said. "I can't trust you, I can't trust her, I can't trust anyone now.' he thought to himself.
"You should've known better than to disobey Herobrine." he heard Ikaar say behind him.
Lewis froze. He knew nothing about Ikaar, but he recognized his voice. Whirling around, he unsheathed his sword,"You..."
Ikaar smirked,"Remember me?"
"Clearer than daylight." Lewis replied. "You killed me...Didn't you?"
The assassin chuckled,"And people call you a hero? Believing the most distrusted person of all four realms and agreeing to kill the most closest person to you in your life? How foolish."
"I KNEW IT! I knew this was all just a set up-I knew something was going on here!" Lewis shouted angrily.
"And yet, you played along. You bought the whole thing." Ikaar teased and pounced onto the hero. "Just following orders, Lewis" he said as he put a dagger to his throat.
"Ikaar, spare him." Herobrine emerged from the forest and stared at them sternly.
The assassin got off of Lewis and helped him off the ground. Lewis glanced at Herobrine,"You set me up! And for what? Just to see us bloodthirsty?"
Herobrine rushed towards the hero and pinned him onto a tree. Staring at him square in the eye he spoke quietly,"I want revenge."
He dropped the king. Lewis rose, his eyes blazing white, just like Herobrine's. He bowed,"What do you wish from me, Lord Herobrine?"
"Bring me your companion." Herobrine commanded with a smirk.
"Your wish is my command." Lewis said, smile wide across his face. Dragging his sword behind him, he made his way back to Mistral City.
"Change of plans. If they disobey, bring them to me, or alert me. I'll take care of them." The Nether King said to Ikaar.
"Aye, Master Herobrine." Ikaar replied and teleported away.
"They're stronger than I thought. More of a challenge...I like it." Herobrine said and opened a portal back to the Nether. He stepped through it and closed it before anyone could notice.
