Throughout the week, Lewis and Jordan would disguise themselves to visit Sky. Ethan would often leave to tend to calls, giving them time to plan and talk. Every now and then, one of them would become overwhelmed by Herobrine's control. This made it difficult to talk for a while, so they decided to make a plan to put an end to it.

"I think one of us needs to go up to him and explain." Lewis suggested.

"When I did that, he sent you to attack me!" Jordan pointed out, rubbing his neck.

Sky held his chin in thought. "Well, we should first figure out what he wants to do with us."

Jordan cringed. "The first time I broke free, Herobrine said he was going to kill us when he's finished with us." He said quietly, recalling the time clearly.

Lewis looked down. "Now we know what he's going to do when we've done our 'task'"

"But what is he going to do with us before that happens?" Sky asked them. "We need to figure that out."

The three of them thought for a while, debating between thoughts and ideas.

"The closest things that can to Herobrine are his guards." Lewis said, interrupting his brothers' thoughts. "He trusts them."

"What are you trying to say?" Jordan asked.

"If we could get one of them to talk, we'll get the information we need." Lewis declared.

Sky considered the idea for a moment. "But what if they don't decide to tell? And if they do, what if they tell Herobrine?" He inquired. It was a good plan, but if it failed what else could they do?

"Good point..." The oldest of the three said and went back to brainstorming.

"What if one of us just played as a guard?" Jordan suggested to his brothers.

Looking up from his thoughts, Lewis snapped his fingers in realization. "Jordan, that's it!" He exclaimed.

Sky nodded joyfully, his hopes rising. "But who's going to do it? I obviously can't."

"Since Jordan came up with the idea, I vote that he should do it." Lewis said.

Jordan flinched. "Do you know how ridiculously dangerous this is? If my powers fail me...I'll be dead!" He protested.

"They won't fail! You seem pretty mastered, I think you'll be fine." Lewis said to him.

"Why can't you do it?" Jordan asked, striving to win the argument.

"Are you kidding? I'm not risking it!"

"And you're risking me?!"

Sky rolled his eyes. "Guys! Now is not the time to fight."

Lewis crossed his arms. "I still think Jordan should do it."

Jordan narrowed his eyes and murmured something to himself. "...Fine. I'll go."

Lewis cheered. "Good. When Ethan returns, we'll leave the jail and you'll teleport to the Nether."

"Good luck." Sky whispered, hearing footsteps down the hall.

"Thanks for keeping watch, Ace." Ethan said as Lewis brushed by him hastily.

"Anytime, Ethan." he replied and hurried out the jail.

---

After agreeing to the plan, Jordan teleported to the Nether. Once he reached his homeland, he took form as a zombie pigman guard of Herobrine's fortress. Jordan trotted through the halls, trying to keep suspicions low and look busy.

Occasionally other guards would look at him questionably, but he would just nod at them and hurry along to the throne room.

Appearing before the vast doors of his Father's throne room, Jordan drew out a sigh and let himself in.

He shuddered at the sight of Herobrine sitting on his throne with a concentrated look on his face. A pigman patrolling his post next to the throne looked up at Jordan. It quickly left his spot and left the large room.

Jordan cautiously walked over and took over the post. Sweat beaded down his rotting forehead. He kept himself centered, mainly focusing on keeping the disguise on.

"You look new here." Herobrine said, making Jordan nearly jump out of his skin.

"Y-yes. I am new." Jordan replied, modulating his voice.

Herobrine laughed softly. "Well, I guess I should explain what's going on here before you recruit to your duties."

'Here it goes...' Jordan thought to himself and listened to Herobrine.

"You see, I have three sons. Ever since they were young, I've been trying to convince them to stay with me so we could take over the four realms." his father began. He stood up and began pacing the room.

Jordan straightened his posture uncomfortably. "I'm listening,"

"They denied me, of course and left to go live in the Overworld. They all became kings, and they made an alliance with each other to keep Minecraftia in order." Herobrine continued.

Jordan nodded and continued to listen, partially bored. 'Come on, just cut to the chase already.'

"As their father, I wanted them back. I sent out an assassin to kill them, and I made them believe their deaths were caused by their closest friends.

"They believed me, and went out to get their revenge. I did this so they could get used to the feeling of bloodlust, and their minds became too distracted by lies. Once they found the truth, I possessed them." Herobrine explained.

"I see. What happened then?" Jordan inquired, sounding new to the topic.

A smile crossed his Father's lips. "I made them go out and forcefully hunt down their friends for me. Once they've done that, I won't need them anymore."

"Do you have any other plans for your sons?" Jordan asked, eager to hear the information he needed.

Herobrine turned his head. "That's none of your business...Jordan." he spoke slowly.

Jordan flinched. His father grasped his neck while he was still paralyzed in shock, and Herobrine slammed him into the pillar nearest to him.

"But...how?" Jordan whimpered as his power wore off, revealing his true form.

The Nether King laughed menacingly. "I'm your father, Jordan. And I know who's my son when I see them."

Jordan felt the world begin to spin. "...I..wha..."

"Did you really think your plan would work? I'm not that foolish." Herobrine sneered, tightening his grip.

Jordan dangled helplessly against the pillar, feeling every sensation slip away from him. He looked up at his father, a pale look on his face.

"And don't worry," Herobrine's eyes beamed with intentions,"It'll be quick."

Jordan fought off the drowsy feeling. He couldn't sleep. Not at a time like this. He couldn't let himself slip away into the dark. But, the thought of giving in seemed more and more appealing by the second. And...that white glow...was...so...relaxing.

"Nighty night." Herobrine chuckled darkly and flashed his eyes once more.

Jordan's eyelids finally drooped, and he allowed the darkness to envelope him, the shadowy abyss rocking him further and further into his sleep.
