"Well look who it is," Lewis said, making Jordan jump and snap out of his thoughts. "Jordan the traitor."

"Traitor? What do you mean?" Jordan asked as Sky and Lewis walked up to him.

"Don't act like we don't know what you did." Sky snapped. "We saw you."

Lewis nodded. "We witnessed you release Jason."

"It was an accident!" Jordan denied, defending his actions.

Lewis scoffed. "Yeah, right. You accidentally have him an enderpearl. You accidentally opened the cell door."

"I swear!" Jordan defiantly exclaimed.

Sky shot him a glare. "You helped Jason escape. My prisoner. It took hard work to get him here, you know. And the ironic thing is that you were there to help. AND YOU BETRAYED ME!"

Jordan rolled his eyes. "It's just a big misunderstanding. It was an accident."

"There you go again, making up excuses for your actions. Jeez, you really were the most reluctant of us all. Just like Father said when we were kids." Sky laughed at the thought.

Jordan snarled at the insult and his hand began to glow yellow. Just before he could unleash a rain of furry onto Sky, his hand relaxed and he sighed. "I refuse to call Herobrine my father. He was everything but a father to us." Jordan said slowly.

"Whatever. You're in a crap load of trouble when he finds out anyway." Sky said, ending the conversation. "But for now, you have a big lesson to learn."

Jordan looked up to see what Sky was talking about, finding Lewis was no longer stood next to him. Suddenly, Lewis grabbed Jordan's arms and restrained them together. He had teleported behind him.

"What the devil are you doing?!" Jordan exclaimed and attempted to wriggle out of his grip.

"This is for your own good, Jordan." Lewis said calmly and nodded at Sky. "Now, Sky."

Sky grinned and practically skipped over, seeming to be pleased with what he was doing. The palm of his left hand was glowing red. He hovered his hand over Jordan's head. "It's time you learn an important lesson about betrayal." Sky said and forced his hand onto his head.

Pain began surging through Jordan's body. He cringed and winced in agony. "...I...stop...pl-please..." He begged helplessly. The only response he got was another jolt of pain.

"Why did you help Jason escape? Why did you release him from Herobrine?" Sky demanded. Jordan didn't respond; he was too busy enduring his torture. Sky growled and forced some more energy from his hand. He watched Jordan fall to his knees. "Answer my question."

"I...I was doing...the right thing..." Jordan choked out through winces.

"You did the exact opposite of the right thing!" Sky shouted, and the red aurora around his hand glowed brighter. He watched Jordan whimper and hang his head miserably. "Last question,"

"...Make it quick..." Jordan muttered, then writhed and Sky sent him another shock.

"Where did Jason go?" Sky asked.

Jordan shrugged as a response. "...I don't...know..."

Sky narrowed his eyes and impulsed an intentional, burning mass of pain. Jordan whimpered and doubled-over. "...please, Sky...stop..." he pleaded once again.

"Where is Jason?" Sky demanded.

"...he went to...ngh, your kingdom..." Jordan rasped.

Sky's eyes brightened with rage. With a burst of will, he sent out one last surge of suffering. Unable to bear the excruciating charges any longer, Jordan collapsed to the ground. Lewis let him go and stepped back, watching his brother writhe.

With the remaining amount of strength he had, Jordan teleported away. Lewis got ready to teleport after him, but Sky shook his head. "Leave him. Father will take care of him." Sky said and turned away.

"Where are you going?" Lewis asked.

"My kingdom."

"Is it really worth getting him back?"

Sky turned around and smiled. "I'm not going back for Jason. I want to say hello to my friends."

---

Dawn sighed. She's never been the same since Sky went psycho. Seeing her fiancé, a fine gentleman that used to love her very much, turn into a bloodthirsty hunter just made life so unbearable for her.

"Hey, Ty," Dawn said and Ty turned around. "I'm going out for a walk."

He nodded. "Do you want me to-"

"No...no, I'll be fine on my own." Dawn said. She already knew what he was going to ask, for he asked it every time she wanted to take a stroll. The answer was always no.

Before Ty could change her mind, Dawn walked off into the forest. She heard him call for her not to go too far, but she tried to block him out and focus on her thoughts.

Draven was in heavy care, the kingdom was still in ruins, and everything was falling apart. The other kingdoms were in pretty bad shape too. Without a strong ruler like the kings, things went downhill.

"Notch, why did it have to come to this?" Dawn asked, as if talking to the god himself.

"Because life isn't fair."

Dawn turned around, surprised by the answer. Her heart sank when she caught a glimpse of the familiar face of Sky. His eyepatch was gone, and she shivered at his scar. How much she wished she could comfort him.

Sky chuckled. "You look surprised."

"I didn't expect you to be here..."

"I just wanted to say hello, Dawny-poo." he said in a mocking tone.

Dawn closed her eyes. She missed her nickname. "...Sky, I know you're still there. I just wanted to say, that I miss you..."

Sky abruptly flinched back. "You're lying!" he said in a defiant tone.

"Sky, I really, really miss you." she looked up, on the verge of tears,"Please, come back to me..."

Drawing his sword, Sky laughed. "You really think I believe that BS?" He raised his sword, and Dawn tripped back onto the ground. She shut her eyes tightly, accepting her fate.

"NO-"

Dawn opened her eyes slowly and saw Ty standing over her, Sky's sword through his gut. She watched Deadlox fall to his knees.

"Ty!" she yelled and rested his head on her lap. "Ty, stay with me!"

Sky stared at her, expressionless. "At least you two will die together." He yanked his sword from Ty's gut, and aimed at Dawn.

"SKY, NO!" she screamed.

Out of nowhere, a gray-haired figure came running from the woods. He tried to slash at Sky, but missed by an inch. "Leave them alone." it was Ethan, a dear friend of Sky. He brandished his diamond sword threateningly and poised himself for battle. "Or fight me."

Sky smirked. "A challenge, eh? I could go for that."

Ethan glared at him with his visible, red eye. "Bring it!!!"

Ethan charged first, blocking a stab from Sky. He attempted to get a few hits, but Sky blocked them all. Sky lashed at his arm, and Ethan jumped back just in time for the sword to graze his cloak. Ethan kicked Sky in the shin and took a hack at his arm. Sky groaned in pain and stumbled back.

"You're harder than I expected, Ethan, for the quiet one." Sky complemented and charged at him. Ethan stepped to the side and tripped him. Sky regained balance and looked back at Ethan. "In fact, a little too hard...."

Ethan knew what Sky was planning. He had heard about Jason, how he was possessed by Sky. He wasn't going to let the same thing happen to him. When Sky ran up to him to grab the collar of his cloak, Ethan pulled out a dagger from a hidden pocket. He slashed Sky's cheek, and watched him stagger back, covering the cut as blood began to blossom from it.

"You are too weak, yourself, Sky." Ethan said, staring at the shaking king that refused to meet his gaze. "Look at yourself, giving into Herobrine so blindly. You should've know better. Your kingdom needs you, your friends need you...Dawn needs you, Sky." Ethan told him.

Sky's lip quivered. "....D-Dawn...." he whispered, almost caressing the name of his fiancé. He blinked, looked up at his friends longingly, then ran.

Ethan stepped forward to go after him, but stopped himself to care for Ty and Dawn. He helped Dawn lift Ty, and helped her carry him back to the infirmary.

---Later that Night---

Jordan sat by the river next to his kingdom, desperately murmuring a healing spell to himself as his palms glowed a fluorescent pink. He kept thinking about the vow his brothers and he made when they agreed to go to the Overworld: They shall never use their powers for themselves, nor their father, but for others and the better good. He knew that he was breaking the promise by healing himself, but the pain Sky had burdened him was excruciating-nearly unbearable.

His limbs still ached, and his head was still pounding, even though it had been hours since he had to endure such torture. Jordan sighed, placing his palms back onto his head. At least he had eased the pain a bit.

After much more mumbling and using energy, he felt the pain finally fade away, along with the rest of his will he had leftover. Ever since Herobrine took over, the three brothers have lacked strength. They tired easily, but their father urged them to trudge on, even when they were about to drop dead. The fights they had with their friends didnt help the situation. They would usually return with an incision or two, and maybe a few bruises.

Jordan sighed and stared at the calm water, trying to sooth himself a bit. He stared into the water, looking at his reflection. Dim, gray eyes stared back at him instead of blue. He drew in a breath, and slowly let it down.

"Notch, what have we become? Forced by our own father to kill our friends..." he laughed,"And nearly going mad."

He kicked a rock into the water, watching the ripples disrupt his reflection. Once the ripples died down, Jordan was left staring at his blank eyes, a psychotic smile broadly on his face. "Aw, it's not so bad if you just let go." he said.

Jordan shuddered. He hated when Herobrine used his voice to talk to him. It scared him hearing his own voice, but knowing it wasn't his words. "You know I'll never give into you." Jordan growled back.

His reflection grinned. "Oh, I know. You were always the most reluctant of your brothers, anyway."

"You know as well as I do why that was. You know I didn't want to become the next King of the Nether, no matter how much you tried to bribe me." Jordan snapped. "And that's just one little reason. There are just too many to name."

He laughed, knowing it was Herobrine making him do it. "So, I heard you finally used your powers, is that right?"

Jordan's heart sank. He knew his brothers would mouth off about him to Herobrine. "Yes, it's true..." he said, nearly mumbling.

He heard a sharp, whistle-like noise pierce his ears. Jordan cringed. "Speak up, son." Herobrine said.

"It's true." Jordan stated, making the sound ease.

"Heh, I knew you would use them one day. One day you'll master them and use them to your advantage-"

"No! I'll never use them again, only this once." Jordan shouted back.

Herobrine smirked. "We'll see about that." Without warning, he took over, and Jordan was powerless.

'I can't fight you! Why?'

'I need full authority if I want to do this.'

'Do what?'

'Oh, you'll see.' Herobrine made him look into the water one last time, giving Jordan a chance to see a peek at Herobrine's plan. His eyes were their vibrant blue color, but he could not control himself.

"Oh, Mark, Nick, I'm back! I fought off Herobrine!" his father made him say in an innocent, cheesy voice. "I swear I won't kill you intentionally, for I'm not under my dad's influence." Herobrine finished, sneering.

'Dont you dare lay a finger on my friends, Herobrine! I swear if you do-' Jordan started, but Herobrine pushed him away. He couldn't let an opportunity like this slip away.
