---Jordan's kingdom---
Nick and Mark sadly carried Jordan back to the kingdom, their heads down and not a word spoken.
When they reached the gates, they were instantly greeted by villagers that were awaiting their king's return. Villagers lined the streets, staring at their dead king.
Next, Jordan's pets came to meet their master. One by one, Mary, Carry, Gary, Larry, and Baby Einstein came skidding through the streets. Larry was first to reach the two, and he barked. Wagging his tail, he sniffed his owner, then whimpered. The other animals watched with their heads down as Mark and Nick dragged their best friend to the church.
Aya, a six-year old girl that was particularly close to Jordan, walked up to them and cocked her head. "Is he sleeping?" she asked.
Mark looked up at her parents, who nodded. "Y-yeah..." he leaned over to Nick,"Can you take him to the church? I'm going to talk to Aya." he whispered.
Nick nodded and carried Jordan the rest of the way to the church, the king's animals following.
Mark bent down and made eye-level with Aya, who was close to crying. "I could tell you guys had a good friendship." he said with a grin.
She nodded and clutched the teddy bear her king gave to her months ago. "Uh-huh. We would always play when you guys came back from getting rid of all the bad guys.". Aya looked up at Mark, his eyes red and puffy from balling over his friend's death. "Can I have his shades?"
"Huh? You mean Jordan's shades?" he asked. Aya nodded. "S-sure. What for?"
She held up the teddy bear. "For Mr. Scruffles."
He chuckled,"Alright, I'll go get you his shades." Mark stood up and walked off.
Aya smiled and ran to her parents, who took her home without a word. She closed her eyes and sighed. 'I'll miss you, Jordan. We all will.'

---Sky's palace garden---

Dawn wouldn't leave Sky's side.
"Come on, Dawn, we'll have a funeral a few days later." Ty said to the queen of the butter kingdom. He knew how hard this was for her, but she never took her eyes off Sky.
Jason put a hand on her shoulder,"There, there, Dawn. It's going to be okay."
"...Why? Why would anyone do this?" she looked up at Sky's closest friends. Ty shook his head sadly and Jason shrugged.
"I guess...people just do what they have to do." Jason replied.
Dawn bent over and whispered something in Sky's ear, stood up, and walked out the garden, accompanied by Deadlox and MInecraftUniverse. She looked back, paramedics finally arriving. She sniffled and wiped the tears from her eyes.

---Fumblemore's tower---

"I just heard a voice, then a thud. I walked out into the cemetery and found him on the ground." Father Braeburn said to Fumblemore.
The wizard scratched his white beard in deep thought. "Hm...It looks like he was stabbed, most likely by a small knife or dagger." he stated as he studied the dead hero.
Simon and Lysander sat not too far away from the table, the dwarf in tears and the Skylord comforting him.
"I'm so sorry." Lysander said as he rubbed Honeydew's back.
"I shouldn't of left him here. It's all my fault." Simon sobbed.
"No it's not, anyone could've done this. Don't go blaming stuff on yourself. Xeph' wouldn't appreciate it." Fumblemore told him, expression grim.
Father Braeburn rubbed the back of his neck,"What should we do? If the villagers find out..."
Fumblemore nodded,"They'll surely freak out. But, we still have to do what's right. We can't hide the fact Xephos is dead forever." He looked over at Simon,"Are you okay with us telling them?"
The dwarf nodded, pain-struck.
Lysander stood up,"I'll go tell Mistral. Braeburn, you start getting a funeral set up. Fumblemore, stay here with Simon. He's going to need the company."
Now that everyone knew their jobs, Lysander and Father Braeburn headed out of the old wizard's tower, while Fumblemore continued to examine Lewis.

---
The three kings looked at each other, dumbstruck.
"...Revenge? On us? What did we do to you?" Jordan asked Herobrine after a while.
He shook his head. "I'm not looking for revenge. But I bet you three are."
"Why would we want revenge? Nothing really did upset us in our life." Sky said to the Nether king, suspicions rising. 'But that assassin dude did kill me...maybe that's what he's talking about.'
"You don't remember what really happened, do you?"
The three Minecrafters shook their heads.
"All I remember was this hooded guy...an assassin, I guess. He killed me." Lewis said, trying his hardest to recall.
"Yeah, me too." Jordan said, memories flashing back to him.
'Them too? Whoever this assassin is, he must know what he's doing.' Sky thought to himself in disbelief.
"What if I told you guys that you know that assassin better than you think?" he looked up at the celled kings.
"Impossible! I knew nothing about him or her." Jordan stated. The other two nodded.
Herobrine created three crystal balls in his hand and made them float towards the three.
Jordan's showed him getting killed by Mark and Nick. He gasped and staggered back. 'They...they did this?! My closest friends, the most trusted people in my life, betrayed me?!'
Lewis' revealed him getting stabbed by Simon, his companion. "What?! SIMON!?"
Sky's wasn't different. It displayed him getting assaulted by Ty, Jason, and Dawn. The scene was heart wrenching. "...No...I don't believe it."
The balls disappeared and the kings stared at the ground, feeling cheated and brokenhearted.
Jordan clenched his fist,"I see what you mean, Herobrine."
"I as well." Lewis said blandly.
"Count me in." Sky stated with little expression.
Herobrine sneered,"Vengeance is a wonderful thing." he made three dark cloaks appear, equipped with everything the assassin (that was supposedly a close friend of their's) had, and handed them to the kings.
Jordan quickly slipped his on. He reached into the pocket and pulled out an enderpearl. Flipping on his hood, he threw it on the floor, and disappeared through a cloud of smoke. The other two did the same, leaving Herobrine alone in the Nether.
"They look determined." a voice said behind a pillar. The assassin walked out from it, his hood off. "Do you really think they'll pull it off?"
Herobrine chuckled,"I'm sure they will. Idiots thought they were killed by the closest friend in their life. Once they complete the task, they'll be all mine." He stared at the assassin,"You did well, Ikaar, as promised," he pulled out a stash of gold, diamonds, and emeralds,"a reward." the Nether king tossed it into Ikaar's hands.
"Aye, thank you." the assassin bowed.
"You aren't done yet. I need you to watch over them, make sure they do the job right."
"And if they don't?" Ikaar raised an eyebrow.
Herobrine turned away and walked towards his throne,"Kill them."
"Aye." the assassin winked with his scarred eye and threw an enderpearl at his feet.
The Nether king laughed evilly,"Everything's going according to plan, as expected."
