Adrian watched as Sky and Lewis helped a few men load some logs into the back of a wagon. Dusk was approaching, and the men had to hurry before it became too dark to ride around town.

Adrian had been with the brothers for a few months now, and though he didn't really know much about them, he still felt secure to be around them. They seemed to enjoy his company as well, which Adrian liked most.

"You guys do this everyday?" Adrian asked as Lewis wiped his hands on his pants and walked back over to where Adrian was waiting. Sky waved goodbye to the men as they rode off, and he followed Lewis.

"Not so often, but it's just nice to help out," Lewis replied, letting out a short sigh of exhaustion. He had to give the lumberers some recognition for their strength.

"It must be so cool to rule a kingdom..." Adrian said in wonder. "You guys get to make rules and help others on the job!"

Sky leaned in close to Adrian and held a hand up close to his face to whisper. "Some people are just lazy during work." he said.

Lewis gave him a forceful nudge. "Shut it." he said, narrowing his eyes.

Sky rolled his eyes at him and straightened up. Lewis unfortunately saw his eye rolling and gave a small yank on Sky's rattail.

"Hey, hey! Watch the hair!" Sky yelled, slapping his hand away.

"Sorry, little girl, I was only trying to braid it," Lewis grinned.

Adrian giggled.

Sky glared at both of them and opened his mouth to make a retort, but Skylord Lysander hurried up to them, nearly out of breath.

"Lysander?" Lewis said, turning to face his dear friend.

The red-faced Skylord huffed and doubled over to catch his breath before looking up at them. "Fumblemore...he needs...you..." he muttered.

Lewis looked at Sky and Adrian before nodding. "We'll be there straight away. Just...sit down, catch your breath..." he said before hurrying towards Fumblemore's tower, which was easy to spot because of it's outrageous height compared to the other buildings.

Sky and Adrian rushed after Lewis, and Lysander took a seat where Adrian was and panted.

"This is why I drive airships..." he mumbled.

---

Lewis was so used to climbing up the steps of Fumblemore's tower that he was practically skipping one, two steps at a time. There was no railing to hang on to, making it a dangerous risk to take at such a height.

Lewis was nearly at the top before he looked down to see Adrian and Sky still at the half-way mark.

"Hurry it up! You heard Lysander; Fumblemore needs us immediately!" Lewis called down to them.

"Why don't you slow it down, twinkle toes!?" Sky yelled back and continued marching up the steps. He looked back at Adrian, who was clinging to the wall of the tower with his eyes squeezed shut. "Adrian, come on," Sky said, stopping to wait for him.

"T-too high..." Adrian whimpered.

Sky sighed.

Lewis took time to enjoy the view his beloved kingdom while he waited for Sky and Adrian. It looked so peaceful at night. Lanterns hung on posts of each street, illuminating the city. However, there seemed to be something missing to make the night perfect.

Suddenly, he heard huffing and puffing from the steps. Lewis turned his head to see Sky staggering up the stairs with Adrain clinging to his back.

"He's scared of heights..." Sky panted and gave Adrian a light shake. "You can get off now." he said.

Adrian whimpered and continued clinging to him.

Sky irritably sighed and teleported him off his back. Adrian squeaked as he found himself on the balcony floor of the tower.

Lewis smiled. "Come on, let's go inside. Fumblemore must be expecting us..." he said before opening the door to enter the tower.

Sky went in first, and Adrian cautiously followed. Lewis was last to go in, and he closed the door behind him.

"Fumblemore?" Lewis called, looking around. "We're here! Sorry for the delay."

"Eh?" an elderly voice called back as a figure popped up from behind a disorganized stack of books.

Lewis took in a breath to raise his voice. Fumblemore was getting old, his hearing was starting to go bad. "It's me, Lewis! And Sky and Adri–"

"Ah! Don't tell me! I know your names!" Fumblemore hobbled over to the three of them. "Mm..." he touched Lewis' face, pinching his nose and feeling his beard. "Louise." he stated.

"Actually it's–"

Lewis received a smack on the head from the wizard's cane.

"Don't interrupt!" Fumblemore spat at him. "The attitude of youth these days..." he said before moving on to Sky. He pinched both of Sky's cheeks and tugged.

"Ow, ow, ow!" Sky whispered in pain. Lewis tried not to snicker too loud.

"Ah-ha! Snorkel!" Fumblemore claimed, letting go of Sky's face.

"How do you screw it up so badly..." Sky muttered to himself, and Fumblemore jabbed his cane into Sky's gut.

"Hush! I'm thinking!" the wizard said before turning to Adrian.

Adrian whimpered and shut his eyes as Fumblemore grabbed his bottom lip and nose.

"Hm..." Fumblemore stroked his own chin in thought. "Oh! Apple!" he exclaimed. "Or maybe it was Cranberry...Mm...Cranberries..." Fumblemore sighed in content.

Adrian kept quiet to not get hit with the wizard's cane.

Lewis sighed. "Alright, Fumblemore...what did you need us for? Lysander said you needed us urgently." he asked.

"Lipgloss? I don't have any lipgloss..." Fumblemore mumbled, twirling his beard with his finger.

"Ly-San-der." Lewis said slowly, taking the time to pronounce each syllable of Lysander's name individually.

"Lysan...Oh! Lysander!" Fumblemore exclaimed. "Yes, yes! I sent him off to get Lewis, Sky, and Adrian!" he said.

Sky stared at Fumblemore and glanced at Lewis. "I swear to Notch..." he muttered. A small flame erupted in his hand.

Lewis stepped on his foot. "That's us, Fumblemore..." he said as calmly as he could.

Fumblemore scratched his head. "What?" he asked, cupping a hand to his ear.

"We are Lewis, Sky, and Adrian!" Lewis was nearly shouting, for he was beginning to lose patience.

Fumble more was quiet for a while. "Oh! There you three are! You're late!" he exclaimed, whacking each of them with his cane.

Sky growled and made flames in both of his hands. Lewis quickly held him back as Adrian rubbed his head where Fumblemore had struck him.

Lewis twisted Sky's arm behind his back until he calmed down before releasing him and facing Fumblemore once again.

"Now...what exactly did you need us for?" Lewis asked, raising his voice slightly.

Fumblemore stared at him. "You haven't noticed?"

Lewis looked over at Sky and Adrian, who both shrugged.

"No...?" Lewis replied, raising a brow in confusion.

Fumblemore sighed. "Come with me." he said, gesturing to them as he hobbled over to the door which the three of them used to enter the tower. He opened it and stepped onto the balcony, and they followed.

"Look around," Fumblemore said, using a hand to gesture, keeping the other on his cane. "What do you see?"

Still perplexed as to what the wizard was trying to point out to them, the men took a quick glance around of Lewis' kingdom.

There seemed to be nothing out of the ordinary. Every building was intact, guards were patrolling the streets to watch for danger, candlelit lanterns kept the city lit. Very few villagers were still out and about.

"Look up." Fumblemore suddenly said, and each of them lifted their heads to view the night sky.

They saw the moon and the...stars?

To their astonishment, there wasn't a single star in the sky. Nothing but the moon remained stitched in the blue and black fabric known as the night sky. This strange factor seemed to make the poor crescent moon lonely, and it looked as if the sky was a much more darker color although it was mostly black.

"What the hell...?" Sky muttered, shocked and slightly frightened.

"How didn't we notice this..." Lewis said, his voice faint with wonder.

Fumblemore shook his head. "It's not any of you three's faults. This occurred late last night...so no one would've notice unless you were watching the sky, as I was."

"H-how did it happen?" Adrian asked.

"The stars simply disappeared." the wizard replied. "That's it."

"Why...?" Lewis questioned, leaning on the railing of the balcony as he stared at the sky.

Fumblemore looked out into the black abyss above them in silence. "Constell must've been disturbed." he said after a while.

"Constell...ation?" Sky asked, wondering if Fumblemore forgot how to fully pronounce the word.

Fumblemore shook his head. "Constell is the god of the stars. Notch appointed him to create space. Although he made space, he is unable to visit a lot of his creations." he explained.

"What do you mean?" Lewis asked. He was quite a huge fan of outer space. He's conducted many quests for the world outside of his own to different planets and the moon with Simon and Duncan, who was upon their Moon base at the moment.

"The atmosphere is too thick for him to pass through." Fumblemore said. "I've heard he has a love for observing humans, and he wishes to join them one day.

"However, I'm not sure as to why he made all the stars disappear. This could cause many problems." the wizard put in.

Sky nodded in agreement. All of the kingdoms needed the stars for a reason or two. Sky's kingdom depended on the stars for navigation through the thick forest surrounding it, Jordan's needed them for transportation at the sea, which he was close to, and Lewis' used the stars for studies, since his kingdom was well educated and involved with science and technology.

"What do you think could've happened to Constell?" Adrian asked.

"That, I'm not sure of yet." Fumblemore admitted. "I'll look into it."

Lewis and Sky nodded, trusting the wizard's centuries' old knowledge.

Adrian gave a nod as well, putting his trust into Fumblemore.

Fumblemore dismissed them, and as the two brothers and their addition headed down the steps of the wizard's tower, they couldn't help but stare into the black and blue abyss that once held billions of stars.

Worries caught their priorities in a web. This was all too much for occurring after a tragedy. Only a couple months had passed since Jordan's death, and to be introduced to a new conflict was not something the brothers nor Adrian wanted to have accompanying their recovery.

As the group headed home, they soon realized that they didn't have much of a choice. Either tend to the conflict, or create a new tragedy.

The second choice was not their ideal plan.

---

"What to do with you..." Constell uttered to himself as he petted Jordan's head, who was sitting in a crouched position next to his bright, white throne. "You must be getting bored staying up here on the North Star, my pet."

Jordan let a growl rumble in his throat as reply, closing his eyes and leaning against the throne.

"Hm..." Constell mumbled. After a bit of thought and rubbing his chin, a wonderful idea conjured by Sheo's past memories of wonderful times of tormenting Jordan and his brothers. "Ah..." he grinned.

Jordan looked up at him and tilted his head a bit.

Constell brought his hand to Jordan's back and gently rubbed, slowly working his way down. "You remember your dear brothers, don't you?" he asked.

Jordan blinked blankly.

"Of course you don't." the creator of the stars chuckled. He created a clear orb in his hands which proceeded to show images of Lewis, Sky, and Adrian. "The one with black hair was a dear someone to you." Constell said.

He then slipped his hand on Jordan's back down to a hole that went clean through Jordan's abdomen area. "Let's just say that they did this to you." Constell uttered.

Jordan tensed as Constell's hand reached the sensitive area that marked his way of death. Then, he growled. He bared his teeth in anger.

Constell grinned. "Go. Mess with them. You can shed blood, just don't kill them. Yet." he said slyly.

Jordan rose from the side of the throne, and Constell created a portal for him to go through. Jordan leapt through it, now on the Overworld. He spread his wings and took off in search of those accused for his death.
