Four days have passed since Sky's awakening in the hospital. By the end of that day, he had left and gone back to his palace. For those four days he spent them mourning in his room, sometimes sobbing for hours on end. No one was allowed to see him, all except for Lewis, who used the countless hours to attempt to comfort Sky. The tries, however, were fruitless.

Present day, Jordan's funeral. All of his kingdom and a majority of Sky's and Lewis's kingdoms showed up to mourn over the death of the once valiant king. The sky was a gloomy, dark gray and drizzling with rain. Everyone came dressed in black, carrying umbrellas or wearing hats. Some women came with black veils over their faces.

Lewis and Sky and Jordan's closest friends had gathered around his coffin. Sky had glanced at Jordan's pale body multiple times, unable to forget his demise. He bit his lip and attempted to hold back tears, and Lewis had to lower the umbrella to cover his brother's grief.

Other faces were disguised amongst the crowd and within the sidelines of the ceremony. Aya and her parents were near the front, and the young girl was clinging to her father's leg and sobbing over the lost of her dear king and friend. From the side, Herobrine and Katharine stood, staring on in silent grief. Herobrine stared at the coffin, knowing that the Nether Prince lied within it, unable to take the hellish throne now.

The sermon went on about Jordan's life and achievements. Others in the crowd were beginning to sob, many tearing up. The sermon then sent a few merciful prayers to Notch. Sky as well did the same, hoping Notch would be kind to his older brother, despite everything he had done.

After the ceremony, the crowd was allowed to approach Jordan's coffin to see him for one last time. Many were already crying by the time they got the chance to see him. Multiple times had Sky and Lewis had to look away, unable to bear the sight and lost.

The crowd began to mingle and split after around half an hour. The very last, few people were beginning to come along to catch their glimpse of Jordan.

A young man, around his late teens, stepped up to the coffin and stared at Jordan's body. His dark green eyes were faintly stained with red from crying, and his black hair swept over his face. He looked up at the brothers and spoke in a small, shaking voice. "...H-how did he...d-die...?" he asked.

Lewis glanced at Sky, awaiting for permission to explain. Sky trembled and drew in a shaking breath before giving a brief nod.

The teen stared at them and awaited an answer.

Lewis sighed and looked up at him. "He...died at war. He fell off a cliff and was...impaled." he said slowly, yet painfully.

The teen seemed struck, but he glanced down and walked away.

Lewis looked at Sky once more, spotting the tears trailing down his face. He couldn't help but let his own flow as well.

---Two Weeks Later---

Sky and Lewis were visiting Jordan's grave. Sky had placed a bouquet of roses upon the grave, and he was staring at the engraved words in the tombstone stating Jordan's full name and how long he lived. Twenty-one years was all too short in Sky's eyes.

Lewis was next to him, staring down at the grave and mentally praying. He kept telling himself that Jordan died happy, that he was finally free from that bastard entity that was slowly killing him from the inside out. Yet he still felt that something else could've been done, something that didn't have to take Jordan's life.

"...He's in a better place," a voice said behind them.

Lewis and Sky both turned to face, to their utter astonishment, Dan. He was wearing a dark trench coat, yet more things seemed different about him. His eyes were no longer slivered. They were now a dark brown. The brothers noticed that he did not have hinged fangs as well.

Sky slowly stood up and stared at him. "...What happened to you?" he asked in a croaking voice.

Dan shrugged and sighed. "My immortality was taken away," he stated as he slowly approached them.

Lewis stared at the once powerful Serpent King. "...That can happen?" he asked in disbelief.

Dan shook his head. "Not if you're born naturally immortal. If it is granted to you, like me, then it can be taken. Remember, I was once a mortal, Herobrine gave me immortality through a deal, and now that those fools had captured me, I am back to my human self." he explained.

Sky glanced at the ground. "What are you doing here anyway..." he muttered.

Dan shrugged once more. "Your parents were too chicken to show up themselves and give you this," he held up an orb that was playing unrecognizable memories of the brothers.

Lewis and Sky stared at it in awe. "What...is that?" Lewis asked, stepping a bit closer to examine it. His eyes were definitely not fooling him. And there was no way Dan could pull any trickery without his powers.

"Memories your Father had erased in order to protect you three," Dan replied. "Now...these may be disturbing, but I trust that you can handle them," he said before tossing the orb at them.

In mid air, it shattered, and Sky and Lewis were blinded by light.

~

Lewis was bound by chains, suspended in the air. He was much younger than in present time. Ten years old.

Lewis struggled a bit in the chains, glancing at his father. "F-Father..." he said, trembling.

Herobrine stared at him. "It's alright, Lewis. Just relax. They'll be here soon," he reassured him to the best of his abilities to calm his fearful oldest son.

At his side, Katharine stood and the younger Jordan and Sky. Jordan was six years old, while Sky was five. They both were staring at their older brother, fearing what may happen to him. They hadn't a clue as to what was going on, but their father insisted that they must witness this.

After a bit of waiting, two figures arrived. One was an enderman with the markings of the higher class, while the other was human with cloth covering a majority of his face. The End's Ambassador and Ruler.

However, the duo was not alone. They were leading an entity on a chain, which was hissing and snarling. The entity was Sheobadr, and he wasn't all too different from his present self. Lewis trembled and stared at him, fearing what was to happen next.

"...Relax, child." the ambassador said to Lewis and approached him. "It will only be a minute."

Lewis gulped and stared at him, then at Sheo. "Wh-what do I have to do..." he asked.

"Relax." the enderman replied with a huff. "Be willing. Don't struggle, just allow him to do his thing."

Sheobadr grinned and cackled darkly, staring hungrily at Lewis. "Do not worry, my little host..." he hissed and flicked his tail anxiously, awaiting the chain to be taken off of him.

Lewis winced and trembled, attempting to stay calm.

The ambassador grabbed Lewis's left arm and pulled out a dagger. He slit his wrist, and Lewis struggled.

"This is a part of the ritual, Lewis." Herobrine said gently, attempting to calm him.

The ambassador backed away, and the End's King released the mad entity from the chain. Sheobadr stretched and cackled before gliding up to Lewis to examine him.

"Such a fine little one..." the entity cooed and wrapped his tail around Lewis's neck. Lewis gasped and trembled, biting his lip.

Sky winced and hid behind Jordan, who protectively stood his ground and watched the entity toy with his older brother.

The End's Ruler stared at Sheobadr and crossed his arms behind his back. "Get it over with, Sheo." he said strictly.

The entity laughed. "Oh, I'd love to, sir, but I'm afraid I can't!" he said in a exasperated voice.

"And why is that?" the End's King asked.

"The boy is not willing." Sheo hissed with a sick grin.

Lewis trembled. Herobrine glared at him. "Just relax, Lewis. It will be over before you know it." he ordered.

"I-I'm trying!" Lewis cried and gritted his teeth.

The entity smirked and chuckled darkly. "I'm afraid I will require a new host if this one will not comply," he said darkly, glancing at the two other sons of Herobrine.

Katharine gasped and pulled them close to her. "Herobrine...they cannot handle that thing..." she whispered to the fallen god as Sky gripped her dress.

Herobrine opened his mouth to reply, but Jordan stepped forward and stared at the entity of insanity. "Leave Lewis alone! He's not willing because you're scaring and hurting him!" he fairly shouted.

Everyone turned their gaze to Jordan. He was small, yet so dominant.

Sheobadr smirked and laughed. "Am I now?" he hissed, glancing at Lewis's trembling figure in amusement.

Jordan growled and created flames in his hands. "Yeah, you are. You pitiful excuse for a deadly spirit." he challenged.

Herobrine glared at Jordan. "Jordan, that's enough." he stated and stared at him.

Sheobadr released Lewis's neck and stared at Jordan hungrily. "This boy...Jordan..." the entity grinned and made the chain that once held him rise, "...I want him."

Before anyone could stop him, Sheo launched the chain at Jordan and caught his wrist, holding him up in the air. He cackled and used his tail to take the dagger from the ambassador and swiftly sliced the wrist he caught.

Jordan cried out and struggled, kicking and yelling. "M-MAKE HIM STOP!" Jordan screamed as Sheobadr approached him menacingly.

The End's king stared at Sheobadr, and Herobrine stepped up, readying some magic. The End's ruler, however stopped him. "This might work..." he uttered.

Jordan kicked and screamed. "FATHER!"

Katharine gasped and stared in horror. "Herobrine, stop him!" she yelled.

Lewis clenched his hands to fists, and Sky clung to his mother.

Before Herobrine could do anything, the entity entered Jordan's eyes as a black and red mist. Jordan trembled and gasped, his struggles coming to a cease. All members in the room stared in terror, unknowing what was to happen.

Finally, Jordan dropped to the ground, his eyes half-lidded and constantly transitioning between their normal dark teal and a crimson red. He trembled and winced.

Katharine rushed to him and quickly forced healing magic into him. Jordan flinched and continued trembling, the magic having no effect. "Oh god..." Katharine whispered.

Jordan flinched once more and cried out, beginning to writhe on the ground.

Herobrine stared at him, then looked at the ruler of the End.

The king of the End faced him. "...If he survives tonight, I shall cast a spell to make Sheobadr dormant until he is old enough to use his abilities. But we need to find out if he can handle his power." he wagered.

Jordan cried out in pain once again, rolling around and twisting his body in painful ways. He gripped his head and proceeded to scream in pain. Katharine muttered to him and attempted to calm him, but it was useless.

Herobrine glanced at the End's king once more. "...Very well."

~

Lewis and Sky were awoken. They looked around, still fazed by what they had just witnessed. Dan was no longer present where he once stood.

Lewis glanced at Sky, who was trembling. "Sky..." he began.

"So...that's what happened..." Sky uttered hardly audibly, yet loud enough for Lewis to hear.

Lewis looked at the ground and nodded slightly. "...I guess so..." he whispered, still bothered by the sudden return of past memories. He shuddered as some briefly flashed in his mind, wondering how long they had existed.

As the brothers proceeded to become accustomed to the return of their memories, a figure approached them. Lewis and Sky quickly turned their attention to the teen they had seen at the funeral. They remembered him strictly because of his inquisition of Jordan's death.

The lad stopped in his tracks and stared at them, clutching the red rose he had in his hand. "...Am I interrupting...?" he asked fearfully.

Lewis straightened up and shook his head. "No, no..." he said. "Please, go ahead," he welcomed the boy to do his business.

The teen nodded and approached Jordan's grave before gently placing the rose in front of the tombstone. He stood up and stared at the brothers, who were still getting over memories coming back. "...Um..." he said quietly to catch their attention.

Lewis and Sky once again looked at him. "Yes?" Lewis asked him.

The boy looked at the ground. "I...I'm sorry for your lost..." he uttered.

Lewis sighed. "It's alright. We can...we can cope." he said in a reassuring voice. He soon noticed that the teen was tense and uncomfortable. "By the way...we haven't received your name," Lewis did not know what he was doing attempting to start a conversation with this boy.

The teen looked up at him. "O-oh...Adrian...my name is Adrian..." he replied awkwardly.

Lewis nodded. "Well, it was nice to meet you, Adrian," Lewis said to him. "You take care now,"

"Wait," Adrian suddenly said, abruptly cutting him off.

Lewis stared at him and awaited him to continue.

Adrian took in a breath to collect his courage. "I...I want to help you and Sky in any way I can," he proposed, suddenly, unexplained.

Sky and Lewis looked at each other, both having the same thought in mind. "What do you mean?" they asked in sync, staring at Adrian with puzzled expressions.

Adrian looked at the ground. "Well...you see...Jordan and I were very close..." he smiled slightly. "And...we found that we are alike." Adrian looked up at the brothers as his eyes flashed a familiar, haunting crimson.

Got any questions or want any clarifications on certain parts in the series? Ask away!

Thank you all so much for making Revenge my greatest series so far. I honestly loved this one, not only because of the birth of an amazing OC, Dan, but I feel like I have insanely improved in writing through writing this series. I also feel like this story has brought me closer with people and friends, and I hope to continue Revenge into a #3 or even rewrite and publish the series (hopefully). Once again, I thank you all for the support and feedback you have given me for Revenge especially. I love it as much as you guys do! <3 You all :meow:
