The next day, the rain finally stopped, allowing everyone in the simulated world to get back to gathering resources and building. As for Martyn, Nick, Mark, Jordan, and Tiffany, they went exploring.
"So, do we have any idea whatsoever about where we're headed?" Jordan asked his team.
"Not in particular, I think." Martyn turned to him to answer.
"We should probably find a cave, because we don't have minerals or cobble." Nick pointed out.
"Good idea. Resources are our number one priority as of now." Jordan said.
"Don't forget about finding other players." Tiffany piped up.
"And finding our way out of here." Mark pointed out.
"Right!" Martyn said with a nod and lead the team out of the jungle. They were now traveling through the plains biome where Mark and Nick first started. A few minutes later, they came across a swamp biome. "Hold up!" Martyn said and blocked his friends from going any further with his wood sword.
"What? What is it?" Jordan asked, beginning to panic.
The sapling king pointed at the ground and indicated towards string at ankle height in front of them. The team bent down a bit to get a better look. "Tripwire." he glanced around to see where it lead too, with no luck due to the plantation around them.
"Can't we just cut it?" Nick asked and hacked at the wire with his sword. Arrows were sent flying from both ends of the wire. "...Never mind."
"Balls. Either we can run through it, or find another way." Martyn looked at his friends for an answer.
"I say we find another way. It'll be way too dangerous walking through all that." Tiffany said firmly.
"Agreed." Nick followed.
"Same." Mark and Jordan answered.
"Okay, we have our vote. Let's try to go around." Martyn motioned for his friends to follow. "Whoever made that trap was a sneaky bugga'. Probably doesn't want anyone on his territory."
'That much string...In only a few days? How is that even possible? Must've hunted tons of spiders in the first place.' he thought to himself. They turned a corner of a hill, only to find a large lake blocking their path. "Oh, come on now! How many bloody traps do you need, mate?!" Martyn exclaimed in disbelief.
"Hold on!" Jordan piped up and neared the lake. He traced the lily pads across the lake with his fingers. "The lily pads are lined up in such a way that it makes a path. Sort of like a jumping puzzle." he explained as he stepped back to give the puzzle a shot.
"Now Jordan, let's not do anything too rash." Tiffany warned him. "We don't know if you can actually stand on lily pads."
"If you can destroy a tree with your fist, I bet you can stand on a lily pad. I mean, this is Minecraft we're in! Physics don't apply here!" he reasoned.
"Come on Tiffany, let him do it. I tried it out earlier, it worked like a charm." Mark smirked and winked at Nick.
"I told you!" Jordan said and readied himself once again.
"You guys are such trolls." Tiffany said to Mark and Nick, who just giggled and snickered.
Jordan first did a running start, then jumped when he reached the edge of the lake. He landed on the first lily pad, only to find it give out from under him.
*SPLASH*
---
Toby looked up as he heard a loud splash not far from his location. Tense, he grabbed his stone sword and headed out his shack. 'I-it's probably just a sheep, Toby. Just having a nice swim in the lake. That's all. Nothing but a sheep.' the Minecrafter thought to himself as he made his way to the lake with his sword clutched near his chest.
"You idiot!" he heard a voice say, followed by laughing.
"I can't...breath!" another said, followed by uncontrollable giggling and laughter.
"Oh my god, Jordan! You're soaked!" a female said through her giggles.
"I can see that, Tiffany!" an annoyed voice said.
"Bloody hell, this is hilarious!" Toby froze. he knew that voice from anywhere. Martyn. His pace quickened and he emerged from the forest, coming to a clearing where four other Minecrafters were; two were on the ground laughing their asses off, another was stood near the lake's edge shaking his leather jacket dry, and the girl was stood by the soaked one, giggling. Martyn looked up and let out a short gasp. "T-Toby?!"
"Martyn!" Toby yelled and tackle hugged his friend.
"What are you doing here?"
"I believe the question is what are you doing here!" Toby got off his friend and helped him up.
"Exploring." he answered and remembered the traps his team encountered earlier. "Sorry to skip to another subject, but did you set up the tripwire back there?"
The brunette cocked his head at the blonde. "What tripwire?"
'It must've been someone else then...but, who?' Martyn thought to himself. "We found some tripwire trap over yonder and thought you set it up."
"I don't even know how to do such thing. How peculiar..."
"Indeed." Martyn scratched his head in thought and faced his friends, who were still laughing. "Er, sorry about them, they're my friends."
"Martyn...help...I..can't...breath!" Nick said through his giggles.
"Care to lend a hand?" Martyn asked his old friend.
"Sure." Toby replied and helped Nick to his feet and checked on Tiffany, while Martyn helped Mark off the ground and make sure Jordan was okay.
"Son of a gun..." Jordan murmured to himself as he dumped the water out of his shoes. He wiped his shades dry and turned around and found himself facing a brunette in a black hoodie and jeans.
"Are you alright?" he asked.
"Soaked, but other than that, I'm fine...I guess." he muttered the last part to himself.
"I'm Toby." the brunette introduced himself.
"Jordan," he replied.
"Now that we're all settled, why don't we stay over at Toby's place for the night and continue moving?" Martyn said to his friends.
"Who?" Nick and Mark asked at the same time.
"If you two weren't so busy laughing yourselves to death, you would've met Toby." Tiffany said and indicated towards to Martyn's best friend.
"Agreed." Jordan said to his trolling friends, annoyed.
"Follow me everybody!" Toby said happily and lead the way back to his shack.

Steve returned to his house to collect the gunpowder he promised to bring back to Lewis, Simon, and Duncan. He searched frantically through the chest labeled "Mob Drops".
"String....ink sacks....rotten flesh....bones....spider eyes...." he said to himself as he searched. Where was the gunpowder? He searched the other chests, without any luck. Steve was starting to panic. Where could it be? He is usually organized...
"Looking for this?" a voice said behind him.
Steve unsheathed his diamond sword and whirled around, facing his alternate side. "Give it back, Herobrine." he said firmly.
"Oh this?" Herobrine giggled darkly and held the gunpowder out. "Why are you even helping them? They'll succumb to me sooner or later..."
"You can kill them as many times as you want when they're back in the real world! But, please, not here." Steve said cautiously.
"Pft," the white-eyed Nether King dropped the gunpowder on the ground. Steve bent over to pick it up, when he felt something pierce through him. The world began to fade as he slipped into unconsciousness. "Pathetic. You can't tell me what to do, Steve. I kill when I want to. I kill who I want. I will kill them; all of them." Herobrine whispered to his alternate side and tore the sword out of his stomach. He teleported away with a smirk.

Duncan and Simon were digging out all the sand they could from the beach they built their house nearby, while Lewis sat and watched them with a concerned look.
"Uh, I think you've guys got enough sand." the spaceman said to them as they continuously dug away.
"You can never have enough TNT." Simon said to his companion.
"Or nukes!" Duncan chimed in.
"How much do you guys have?!" Lewis exclaimed.
"Uh," Simon opened his inventory and counted the plentiful stacks,"seven stacks."
"Five stacks." Duncan answered."
"Yeah, that's way more than enough."
"NO IT'S NOT!" the two explosion-holics snapped at him.
"Yes it is."
"NO! I WILL MINE ALL THE SAND IN THE WORLD IF I HAVE TO! I WANT ALL THE TNT!" Simon said with a crazed look across his face.
Duncan climbed out of the hole they created. "Nope."
"Good to see I have someone who isn't a pyromaniac." Lewis said joyfully.
"Oh what? No, I was just going to drop off the load I have. My inventory is full." Duncan said with a chuckle.
Lewis face palmed as he watched the blonde scientist empty his inventory into a chest and jump back into the hole. This was going to be one hell of an explosion when they make the TNT.
